BREASTFEEDING WORKSHOP

Learn what you need to know about breastfeeding to avoid potential problems. Understand how your baby navigates the breast & how you can support their instincts & get the best start possible to life with a newborn.

BIRTH PREPARATION WORKSHOP

We will explore the physical & emotional changes that happen during labour & birth.
How to best work with your body for an active and empowering birth.
What causes pain, why is it so good & how can you embrace it.
How your partner can support you in labour to feel confident & effective.
What to do to help you raise your capacity to work with pain & how to help labour progress effectively.

You will receive:
A 37 page comprehensive course booklet packed with resources and revision of information from the classes as well us heaps of other super interesting nighttime reading. Topics covered include how to avoid tears and episiotomies, additional massage techniques and infant sleep facts.

Breastfeeding can be overwhelming in the first few weeks. Sometimes the lack of expertise and reassurance that you really need just isn’t there. Don’t fall in a heap and struggle with breastfeeding. Address issues early before they become real life problems for you and your baby.

I am a Certified Thompson Method Breastfeeding Educator and Fine Tuning Consultant. I am available for home or hospital visits to help you avoid any potential breastfeeding problems. Most visits take around 2 hours and involve respectful observation of your baby breastfeeding, reassurance and immediately relevant information and suggestions that will help you feel at ease, pain free, hassle free and comfortable with your breastfeeding. I will address issues on the spot so that you can feel empowered and relaxed to continue to breastfeed your baby without pain, confusion, expressing, or topping up. Breastfeeding is completely natural and easy when you have the right information and are able to follow your instincts and respond to your baby’s cues.
